Wayne Passmore

Wayne Passmore is a Technical Manager in the low carbon business development group for Enbridge Gas.  In this role, he is responsible for identifying, advancing, and executing new and innovative strategic projects that will help lower GHG emissions in Ontario, with a focus on carbon capture and sequestration and new sources and markets for hydrogen and renewable natural gas.  Previously, Wayne was a Specialist in Economic Development and worked with municipal and provincial economic development groups to attract and retain large energy intensive businesses to Ontario.  Prior roles at Union Gas included sales and marketing, strategic product and service development, business integration and contract account management.  Wayne started his career at Union Gas over 30 years ago, fresh out of the University of Waterloo, as a geological engineer, developing underground natural gas storage facilities in southwestern Ontario.  He and his wife Libby, live on the north shore of Lake Erie, near Rondeau Park.
