Michelle Pittenger

Michelle is a state-licensed geologist in Texas with experience in CO2 sequestration, including projects in the Illinois Basin and Texas Gulf Coast for ConocoPhillips. She currently serves as the Director of Subsurface for GHD’s Energy Services team, working primarily on the Alberta Carbon Grid subsurface feasibility study and appraisal program. Michelle has 30 years of experience in the petroleum industry and CO2 sequestration geology, including reservoir development in onshore Gulf Coast and deep-water offshore Gulf of Mexico, Permian Basin, North Africa, and the Middle East. She brings expertise in all aspects of development geology and reservoir characterization, including seismic interpretation, geologic mapping and modelling, well planning and operations, landowner and partner relations, and regulatory issues.
