Kyle Hofstetter
Kyle is the Chief Operations Officer of Carbon – a finalist of the 2022 Carbon XPRIZE and recipient of the XFACTOR Award. Kyle started his career in cleantech while pursuing a master’s degree from the University of Calgary ’18, where he published and patented designs for next-generation lithium batteries. Kyle has worked on a variety of projects including the ARPA-E RANGE Program.
Kyle joined Carbon in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic and has held a variety of positions. His unique background has allowed him to guide the Carbon teams day-to-day operations. Kyle is the company liaison, connecting the trades, research, and business teams in order to continue to advance the C2CNT® technology.
