Jason Doupe

Jason is Vice President, Environmental Services at Stantec and a specialist in environmental impact assessment, permitting and regulatory affairs, with more than 27 years of energy and resources experience. Over his career, Mr. Doupe has managed a wide variety of projects across all phases of energy development, including carbon capture and storage, oil and natural gas upgrading and refining, transmission and storage, LNG and petrochemicals, mining and water resources. He has been involved in the CCS technology sector for more than 15 years, including as environment and regulatory lead for the Shell Quest CCS Project, helping that project gain both provincial and federal approval. Currently, Jason supports a number of CCS developers in Alberta, as well as provincial, state and federal governments in better understanding the regulatory process, and providing recommendations for streamlining the permitting process.  Jason has extensive experience working around the globe.
