Brittney Morgan

Brittney Morgan, Commercial Manager, Carbon Capture at Capital Power, an Edmonton-based independent power producer with ~7.5 GW of generation facilities in operation across North America. Her current portfolio includes managing the commercial aspects of the proposed Carbon Capture facility at Capital Power’s Genesee 1 and 2 power generation facility west of Edmonton. The project is anticipated to start capturing carbon as early as 2027 and will deliver up to approximately 3 million tonnes of annual CO2 reductions. Previously, Brittney was a Commercial Manager for Capital Power’s Alberta wind and Joint Venture natural gas assets. She was also a Regulatory Analyst developing and leading market and environmental policy advocacy for the company. Brittney has a BSC in Geology from the University of Calgary.
