Bob Bryden

Bob Bryden is Director, Development & Operations at Carbon Alpha. He has a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria and has spent the majority of his career working in the energy industry as a completions engineer. Bob is now responsible for overseeing a team of drilling, completions and operations professionals in designing and planning the execution of CCS appraisal and development wells.

Bob also acts as a project and program manager and ensures all the components of a project come together effectively. He also manages safety programs, procurement, and helps deploy systems and processes to help make operations happen effectively at Carbon Alpha.

Bob works at Carbon Alpha because the work is new and exciting, and the team is smart, driven, and productive. He believes in CCS and can’t think of a team better equipped to execute projects optimally.
