Shellie Clark is the Commercial Vice President for Tenaris in Canada, a position she has held since 2020 and where she has led a team of inside and outside sales through the company’s industrial transformation of its Canadian footprint.

In 2020, Tenaris inaugurated $150M in transformative investments to create a hub for its pipe manufacturing operations in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, the heart of its industrial network which serves as the anchor to the company’s commercial strategy, Rig Direct®.

With more than 20 years of experience in the tubular and energy industry, ranging from engineering design to oilfield services to pipe manufacturing, Clark oversees the company’s commercial business focusing on revenue growth, asset utilization, risk mitigation and cost optimization, and the execution of Rig Direct® services.

Clark joined Tenaris in 2017 as senior director of strategic planning, managing the medium and long-term forecast and exerting management control over the commercial, manufacturing and supply chain business units to improve productivity and quality.

Before joining Tenaris, Clark worked in various roles in strategic planning, business development, market analytics and commercial at Baker Hughes, a GE company.

Throughout her career, Clark has proven success in promoting diversity and executing change initiatives, building strong partnerships with key business decision makers and maintaining a long-term strategic focus.

Clark is a graduate of the University of Calgary with a bachelor’s degree in Commerce-Finance. She also received a technical diploma from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) where she studied engineering design and drafting technology.
