Peter Hatcher is Executive Vice President, Western Canada & Territories for WSP in Canada.

In this role he is responsible for overseeing the company’s strategic growth and operational direction within the Region and supports clients by leveraging his experience in delivering projects.

Peter brings over 25 years of experience in delivering professional services in the energy, industrial and infrastructure sectors.  He has held engineering, construction and operations leadership positions in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and Australia across a diverse portfolio of capital projects including carbon capture and LNG.  He has also worked in operating facilities for two large multinational companies in the energy and mining sectors.

Peter is focused on working with teams to identify and realize commercial solutions that lessen the carbon footprint leading toward a net zero economy.  He is a professional engineer registered in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Ontario.
