Conference Speakers

Dr. Walid ElMoudir is the Process Engineering Manager of Delta CleanTech Inc., leading an engineering team in Calgary, Alberta, and Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. He has over twenty-two years’ experience in plant design, operation, optimization & troubleshooting, specifically in the CO₂ Capture and amine solvent purification. He participated in major CO₂ Capture projects & FEED Studies in Canada and Beyond. He has participated in designing and building six CO₂ Capture plants including the largest CO2 Capture Pilot Plant in the UK. Dr. ElMoudir has a B.Sc. & M.Sc. with distinction in Chemical Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Industrial Systems Engineering. He is a registered professional engineer with Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), Saskatchewan (APEGS), & British Columbia (EGBC). He is also a Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute (PMI).
