Rahul Patel is the Director of Business Development and Sales at ATCO EnPower, a global enterprise within Canadian Utilities Ltd. and the ATCO Group of Companies.
In his current role, Rahul leads business development initiatives across multiple strategic areas, including Energy Storage, Clean Fuels, and Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS). His team is responsible for identifying and advancing infrastructure opportunities that support the company’s growth and innovation objectives.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the energy sector, Rahul has held leadership roles spanning Engineering, Operations, Business Development, and Executive Management. Prior to joining ATCO, he served as President and CEO of Plains Environmental, an environmental and oilfield services company.
Rahul holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta. He is a certified Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and Project Management Professional (PMP).
