Learn moreBorn and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, David Schick joined the Canadian Fuels Association (CFA) in December 2019 as Vice President of Western Canada. He is active in policy development and government relations across various levels of government with a focus on Western Canada.
David has worked in the downstream energy business for over 30 years. Prior to joining the CFA, he was the Director of Policy and External Affairs at Parkland for two years; prior to that, he worked in various positions with Chevron, including managing Policy, Government and Public Affairs, systems development, planning and finance roles for over 28 years.
David served as Chair of the B.C. Used Oil Management Association for 11 years. He is currently a director of the B.C. Bioenergy Network and the Clean Fuels Theme Lead for the Clean Resource Innovation Network (CRIN). David has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology from the University of Victoria. He lives in North Vancouver with his wife and son.
