Takashi Kamijo is the Chief Engineer/ License technology director of CCUS Project & Technology Department of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Tokyo, Japan. He joined Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. in 1993. Since then, he was engaged in process engineering and project management for various domestic and overseas chemical plant projects. He has nearly 30 years of experience in process engineering, R&D activities and project management of Carbon Capture technology of MHI. His engineering & project experiences in this field include MHI first commercial unit for Malaysia, which started operations in 1999, to the world's largest CO2 capture plant for Petra Nova, USA, which started operations in 2016. He is currently involved in engineering & project management of carbon capture overseas projects, and new technology development for CO2 capture process technology.
