Lenny Fernando is the Calgary- based Business Development Manager representing SLB New Energy, for Canada. With over 24 years of experience working in North America, Australasia and Europe, Lenny has held several technical sales and marketing roles supporting the industry with SLB’s technical leadership and innovation.
In his current role since 2022 , Lenny is supporting western Canada’s energy transition development projects in geothermal, carbon capture and sequestration (CCS). In his previous role as the Netherlands based– Executive Account Manager, he supported geothermal projects in Germany, France and other EURW countries since 2018. With current challenges faced for new energy projects Lenny is supporting the market by using SLB resources to establish collaborations between services companies, communities, regulators and other stakeholders are key enabler to progress forward.
He is a Sri Lankan-born, Canadian, with a degree in civil engineering from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario. Lenny enjoys travelling and exploring new places and meeting people from around the world.
