EDMONTON, ALTA. – (September 25, 2025) dmg events announces the winners of five awards at the 2025 Carbon Capture Awards gala held September 24 at the Edmonton Convention Centre. The annual awards recognize organizations and individuals driving innovation, leadership, and scalable solutions in carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS).
This year’s program attracted more than 30 final nominees, each demonstrating impressive contributions that are advancing CCUS technologies and projects. The gala brought together150 executives from across the energy and sustainability sectors including BASF, Carbon Engineering, Cenovus Energy, CPKC, Enhance Energy, Heidelberg Materials, JPS Construction Group, SLB, Suncor Energy, the International CCS Knowledge Centre, and Worley. Guests enjoyed an intimate evening of networking, cocktails and a chef-driven four-course dinner and was hosted by Danny Hooper, Master of Entertainment and CMAB Hall of Fame inductee.
