On July 2, 2026, the Government of Canada, the Government of Alberta, and five major oil sands producers signed a landmark agreement to advance the multi-billion-dollar Pathways carbon capture and storage project, with definitive, binding agreements targeted on or before November 15, 2026.
Carbon Capture Canada 2026 takes place September 15–17, squarely between the signing of that agreement and the deadline for the binding commitments that follow. When the industry, government, and capital sit down to finalize the project pipeline of the decade, the companies they'll already know are the ones who were in the room in Edmonton.
This is no longer a market in planning. Heidelberg Materials is on track to commission the cement industry's first full-scale carbon capture facility in Edmonton by the end of 2026. Federal CCUS Investment Tax Credits are being extended to 2035. Alberta is extending its Carbon Capture Incentive Program to 2035 and applying a 120-day approval timeline for qualified projects. Development-phase spending on Pathways alone is estimated in the tens of billions of dollars.
That capital will be spent with someone. Exhibiting at Carbon Capture Canada 2026 puts your company in front of the project owners, EPCs, policymakers, and investors making those decisions at the exact moment they matter most.
Join the companies who were already positioned when the Pathways agreement landed. 2025 exhibitors included Halliburton, SLB, BASF, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Linde, Svante, Tenaris, Schneider Electric, Stantec, WSP, and 50+ more across the full CCUS value chain.
Carbon Capture Canada isn't measured in footfall. It's measured in who walks the floor and in 2025, three out of four visitors held purchasing power, and one in three sat at Director level or above. These are the owners, EPCs, regulators, and financiers behind Canada's largest decarbonization projects.
Edmonton sits at the heart of the most active CCUS corridor in North America. Carbon Capture Canada 2026 takes place minutes from the projects defining the sector's delivery decade:
