Is there a fee to submit a nomination?

No, there is no fee to submit a nomination.

Who can apply for the Carbon Capture Canada Awards?

To be eligible, applicants must currently be working in the industry or completed the project/initiative/technology within the past 12 months.

Applicants can apply for any of the categories from all over the world not only from Canada.

When does the submission period open?

Submission period is from March 23, 2026, to May 29, 2026.

How do I submit a nomination?

Review the categories and the questions required to be answered for each category. You can view the categories and questions on the website or download the full list of categories HERE.

Do I have to be an exhibitor at Carbon Capture Canada to submit?

Companies do not have to be an exhibitor to submit a submission, however if you are interested in exhibiting or sponsoring, please contact our sales team at [email protected]

Can the same project be submitted for multiple awards?

No, project / initiative / technology / person can ONLY be submitted for one category. If multiple submissions on the same project are received, all submissions after the first one will be disqualified.

Can I submit on behalf of my company, or do we have to be nominated?

Yes, you can submit on behalf of yourself or your company as well as be nominated. If you are nominating a company, ensure you have the company’s permission and that you can answer all questions fully.

I have applied for other awards in the past; can I still apply?

Yes, if you have received an award, been a nominee or submitted in the past for other awards, you can submit for 2026.

If I am shortlisted as a nominee, are there any costs?

If you are shortlisted as a nominee, award ceremony attendance is mandatory. Failure to attend may result in forfeiture of nomination or award. Nominees must send at least one company representative to the awards. The minimum purchase of one seat to the gala will be required by August 28, 2026.

Do I have to be an exhibitor at Carbon Capture Canada to attend the Gala?

Companies do not have to be an exhibitor, however if you are interested in exhibiting, please contact our sales team at [email protected]

How can I purchase an individual seat or a table of 10 to attend the Gala?

All ticket purchases must be purchased online through the registration system.

Can I purchase tickets onsite?

Tickets can be purchased up to one day before the Gala through the online registration system or at the registration desk at the venue. To ensure your seat or table book your tickets as soon as possible.

Can I attend the Gala virtually?

The Gala will be a live-in-person event only and the option of attending virtually will not be possible.

When will I find out the winners?

Winners will be announced on the evening of September 16, 2026. Winners will then be listed on the website soon afterwards.
