Devin Lacey

Devin Lacey is the Manager New Ventures and Emissions Management at GLJ Ltd. Devin began his career in energy as a contractor working on a variety of projects, including a large-scale power transmission network for Nalcor Energy’s Lower Churchill hydroelectric project and the Terra Nova Life Extension drilling program for Suncor Energy.

Devin joined GLJ in 2020 and is part of the business development team that’s diversifying GLJ beyond traditional oil and gas and into emerging energies and sustainability. Devin works on projects in areas such as economic modelling, financial analysis, carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS), hydrogen, ESG (environment, social and governance) reports and technical reports.

In 2021 Devin was awarded the Rising Star Award on behalf of the Daily Oil Bulletin, Fluor Canada and geologic systems ltd. Devin holds a Bachelor of Commerce undergraduate degree from the Memorial University of Newfoundland and an MBA from the University of Calgary, both of which as a Finance major.
