David has a chemical engineering background and 22 years experience in the cement & concrete industry, working in both the manufacturing and commercial sides of the business, with a focus in the last 6 years on Sustainability & Innovation.  In his current role as Innovation Director for Ash Grove cement he focused on supporting their 12 cement plants with their decarbonization goals through the scouting, evaluating and creating innovation collaborations with technology providers.
